Honda CRF description

2012 Honda CRF50F, BEST ENTRY LEVEL DIRT BIKE EVER MADE - Get Started in the Right Gear. There’s a good reason Honda’s CRF50F is probably the world’s most popular beginner bike. A whole bunch of great reasons, actually. First, its bulletproof engine develops the kind of smooth, easy-to-use power first-timers really need. Its three-speed transmission with automatic clutch is newbie-friendly, and its tough suspension stands up to the use (and abuse!) of first-time riders. The CRF50F has features like an adjustable throttle limiter so you can tailor the power to your rider’s skills. That kind of thoughtful engineering, long-term overall quality and a whole lot more are what make the CRF50F a Honda. Important Safety Information Parents need to consider their youngster’s age, size, ability and maturity before allowing them to ride. Designed exclusively for off-road operator-only use. Always wear a helmet, eye protection and protective clothing whenever you ride. Never ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Always obtain written permission before riding on private land. Whenever you ride off-road, follow the “Tread Lightly” guidelines, and always keep on established trails in approved riding areas. Use common sense, keep your riding area clean, respect the rights of others when you ride, and never modify your motorcycle’s silencer, exhaust system or spark arrestor.

Hot on-board laps of Cadwell with Josh Brookes

Thu, 30 Sep 2010

You've got to be reasonably mental to ride a 200bhp Superbike on slicks around the narrow cart track that is Cadwell Park. We've met Josh Brookes a few times and we can vouch that he qualifies highly for the task in hand. That's a compliment, by the way.

Asimo: Lazy bastard

Wed, 22 Aug 2012

Honda's ASIMO, Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility robot is a pretty cool thing. Until I'd seen it in the flesh (plastic?) I thought it was just a willy-waving exercise from Honda, but when I saw it running and walking up and down stairs, I was massively impressed. So, perhaps, one day, we'll have the ability to buy a relative of ASIMO to help us around the house, I thought to myself.

Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?

Thu, 05 May 2011

Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.
