If you’re looking for an enduro bike that includes everything you need to win races — or bragging rights with your trail-riding friends — the Honda CRF250X must be at the top of your list. Twist the throttle, and hang on while the 249 cc Unicam 4-stroke engine’s immense torque and broad powerband hauls you out of sticky situations or rockets you over the whoops. Premium Showa suspension keeps everything under control, plus it allows a huge range of adjustability so you can get the ride just the way you like it. And with standard electric start and enduro headlight, taillight and odometer, all you need are some stick-on numbers to enjoy the thrill of off-road competition.

Wed, 08 Jan 2014

Stage 4 of the 2014 Dakar saw Juan Pedrero take his maiden victory aboard a Sherco SR 450 Rally. Although not in contention for the overall, Pedrero showed he has outgrown his previous role as Marc Coma’s lieutenant at KTM by bringing his Sherco across the finish line 3:10 faster than third place Coma and 29 seconds faster than second place finisher Francisco Lopez. Coma’s performance in today’s stage moved him to only 3:10 behind overall leader Joan Barreda.

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.
