Honda CRF description

2012 Honda CRF250R, 27 HOURS ON HOUR METER. MOSTLY STOCK. - Perfect balance. In a golfer, it can lead to longer drives. In a motocross bike, it can lead to shorter lap times. The Honda CRF250R cant help your golf game, but it sure can help you to fill up your trophy shelf in a big hurry. A new cylinder head and camshaft combined with a new 46 mm throttle body in the battery-less Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) system produce a broader powerband with more low-end and midrange torque. But thrilling engine performance is just half of the CRF250Rs winning formula – its chassis, in perfect balance with the new engine characteristics, gives you the extra confidence you need to drive deeper into corners and power harder through the whoops. For 2012, a new rear suspension linkage along with updated settings front and rear make this great-handling bike an even bigger threat on the track. Plus, we know youll love the longer and wider footpegs and the premium Dunlop MX51 tires.

2015 Honda CB300F Heading To Canada in White with ABS

Thu, 10 Jul 2014

When American Honda officially announced the new 2015 CB300F this morning, it didn’t take long to realize the naked version of the CBR300R would not be offered with anti-lock brakes. The lack of ABS, even as an option, was one of the things that differentiated it from the CBR300R which offered it at a $500 premium. That’s not the case north of the border however, as Honda Canada confirmed it will offer the CB300F with ABS as standard equipment.

Back in the day, the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba

Fri, 24 Jun 2011

This ‘you tube’ gem sent to me recently brought back some funny memories from the scary but incredibly exciting days of 500cc two stroke racing. This particular race was the final round of the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba Circuit where I enjoyed a head to head battle with national hero Tadahiko Taira. Yamaha’s favourite son at the time, ‘tie wrap’ as we liked to call him, was taller and better looking than most Japanese riders (maybe a war baby?) and went on to win nearly everything in Japan during his career.

Casey Stoner To Be Named MotoGP Legend

Fri, 11 Oct 2013

There’s no question Casey Stoner was (and still is) one of the best riders ever to throw a leg over a motorcycle. His accomplishments on two wheels, especially his championships on both Ducati and Honda machinery, are proof. Next week at the MotoGP round at Phillip Island in Australia, Stoner will join a distinct group of riders as he will be officially inducted into the MotoGP Hall of Fame.
