With a machine like this, anything less than perfection is unacceptableand the 2012 CRF450R gives you the perfect balance of open-class Honda power, refined suspension, and the best brakes in the business. First, weve changed the rear shock linkage so you get a softer start and a stiffer finish. It responds to small bumps better, but still resists bottoming over really big hits. Fine-tuning the rear travel helps with steering during hard braking and on long, fast downhill sections. At the front, new fork outer tubes are stiffer for better feedback and superior tracking in heavy dirt, mud, and sand sections. New springs and suspension settings front and rear keep the balance right and increase steering precision. Mon, 04 Nov 2013Gracing the new 2014 VFR800F is traction control, ABS, heated grips, adjustable seat height and self-canceling blinkers. The V-Four-powered machine has been re-tuned for greater low and mid-range torque, and also receives a new telescopic fork, Pro-arm swingarm, wheels, new, slimmer bodywork and styling. Starting with the 782cc V4-VTEC engine, Honda engineers focused mainly on cam timing and valve duration/overlap to increase low-to midrange power and torque, claiming 104.5 hp @ 10,250 rpm and 55.4 ft-lbs of torque @ 8,500 rpm. Bore and stroke is 72mm x 48mm, with compression ratio of 11.8:1. VTEC valve timing still operates one pair of inlet/exhaust valves per cylinder at low rpm, and then switches to four as revs rise. Honda’s single-mode Traction Control System (TCS) is fitted as standard equipment and is operated from the left handlebar.

Recall for 2008-2010 Honda ST1300
Mon, 18 Jul 2011Honda is recalling certain 2009-2010 ST1300 sport touring motorcycles due to a risk of a brake fluid leakage. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the pre-formed hose supplying fluid from the rear brake reservoir to the rear brake master cylinder is routed in a way that puts it at risk of damage. When the Honda ST1300 is heavily loaded and ridden over rough surfaces, the rear suspension may bottom out, causing the hose to contact the swingarm.
