2012 Honda Crf 250R, This is a like new 2012 Honda CRF250R. With only 29 hours on this bike it has been barley ridden. And hasn't been ridden since July. All regular maintenance with a valve adjustment after break in were performed. Recently purchased a $5,000 engagement ring and need the money. The bike has always had the oil changed every ride with full synthetic AMSOIL 10W40 and had the filter cleaned after every ride. The bike was mainly trail ridden and has been to Colorado and New York to take on the adventure. The end cap in the exhaust has been replaced with a Pro Moto Billet spark arrestor to make it forest legal. Some other accessories include aftermarket Moose radiator hoses with Engine Ice in the radiators to keep engine temps down during the hot summer days. 45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013
Tue, 10 Jun 2014Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.
2014 Honda NC750S, NC750X May be Heading to Canada
Mon, 25 Nov 2013We were disappointed when American Honda announced it would offer the NC700X in 2014 the very same day its parent company revealed the NC model line was getting upgraded to 750 in other markets. It was bad enough Americans only got the adventure-styled X version and not the NC700S naked standard or Integra scooter in Europe, but for 2014, American Honda will continue offering the 670cc model instead of the new 745cc version. Canada may be another story however, as Honda Canada’s website has pages set up for both the NC750X and NC750S.
Frog eBike – the Electric Successor to 1985 Frog FZ750 Concept
Tue, 03 Apr 2012San Francisco-based Frog Design released images of a new electric motorcycle concept, just as its influential Yamaha FZ750-based Rana concept gets enshrined at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Frog designer Jin Soek Hwang prepared the Frog eBike concept as an expression of how electric motor technology can influence motorcycle design. In a post on Frog’s blog, the designer says he was inspired in part by Frog’s 1985 FZ750 Rana concept (pictured after the jump).
