Honda CRF description

2007 Honda CRF250R, Clean, Stong Runner! - With an AMA SX Lites title and countless magazine kudos to its name, some might think the CRF250R would rest on its laurels. Some would be sorely mistaken, because at this level of competition, there is no rest. So we honed this machine to an even finer, higher-revving edge for 2007, shaving weight, retooling cam profiles, revising the brake lever linkage for additional stopping power, and beefing up the clutch to ensure the best is even better.

Mon, 23 Apr 2012

The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick. The Pata Honda racing team announced it has re-signed Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam to compete in the 2014 World Superbike Championship. It’s been a disappointing season for both rider, thanks in large part to injuries. Rea is currently on the shelf with a fractured femur sustained in a crash at Nurburgring while Haslam also missed several rounds earlier in the season because of a broken leg.
