Honda cr500 1989, powder coated frame, new plastics and seat cover, oem exhaust, the engine has new seals all around, precise transmission, clutch and kicker, good compression, cylinder is bored to 90 mm. Water pump area checked in great conditions. Forks have 0 hours, new seals and oil.
I shipped this bike from California to Italy(that's where I'm from) with the intention of participating in the Vet MXDN at FARLEIGH CASTLE this September 14-15 but I haven't been able to get a spot in the 500 class and a dear friend of mine in the UK passed, sooo...here it is ,up for grabs ,the bike is located in Northern Italy in my dad's garage.
You 're more than welcome to go check the bike in person if you want, I will give you address and phone number if you wish to do so.
I will not ship because I'm not physically in location and my dad is elderly, pick up only or get your own carrier to pick up after I got paid.
Deposit within 3 days will be a wire of 300 eur to my account in Italy and the balance when you pick up or balance of the sale price wired to my bank account before your shipper will pick up the bike.

Repsol to Sponsor 15-Year-Old Female Racer
Wed, 22 Feb 2012Spanish oil company and frequent racing sponsor Repsol has reportedly close to signing 15-year-old Red Bull Rookies Cup racer Maria Herrera to its stable of riders. Herrera, the 2011 Mediterranean PreGP Champion, is the first female racer to be selected to compete in the Red Bull Rookies Cup, a youth racing series held jointly with the MotoGP tour. Herrera also trains with MotoGP racer Alvaro Bautista.
Honda Raises MSRP for 2013 NC700X But Lowers Price for DCT Option

Flying a little under the radar however was a change to American Honda‘s pricing structure for the 2013 NC700X which sees a price increase for the base model but a price cut for combined anti-lock brakes and a dual clutch transmission Honda introduced the NC700X last year at an impressively low price of $6999 for the base model and $8999 with ABS and DCT. The low price point was one key advantage we awarded the 2012 NC700X over the $7899 Kawasaki Versys in our recent Middleweight Multi-Tool Shootout.

Mon, 22 Jul 2013Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
