This is a 2001 Honda CR500.The bike is in very good physical and operational condition.Bike has original steel bars. The rubber around the throttle and clutch lever doesn't even have any wear. The fork tubes and these guards don't even look like the bike has ever followed anyone. It was on the original tires and we replaced the rear with a new one. It has an almost new FMF full exhaust installed.The bike starts and runs excellent and it needs nothing to ride or display. The wheels, swingarm and lower frame do show some typical wear but no rust/corrosion issues as this is an Arizona bike.The seat cover is original and does have a couple blemishes but no tears. The gas tank has some light discoloration. This bike will include the Arizona Title, notarized and ready to sign over to the new owner. Many people consider the 1970's to be the heyday of motocross in the USA. There were countless places to race and bike sales and interest in the sport were at their greatest height. Development of engine performance and suspension were improving dramatically during this time period. High performance hop-up shops like DG Performance and the Flying Machine Factory (FMF) were able to develop parts rapidly and create privateer machinery that could compete with the best Works bikes offered by the Japanese manufacturers. This particular 1976 Honda CR125 Elsinore bristles with the innovative ideas that make FMF products the most collectible vintage items sold on Ebay today. The early '74-'75 FMF products seem to appear quite often for sale, but the later '76-'78 FMF parts have become a bit of a unicorn with very few parts ever offered. The 77' FMF Porky Head (This particular head has Don Elmer's name engraved underneath) is larger than the earlier FMF heads and often commands a price close to 1k. The FMF Gorilla Arm swingarm is incredibly light weight and is virtually impossible to find for sale anywhere. This one is polished. Not many of these on any of the FMF type bikes. Bike is in really good condition, it does have some typical dirt bike scratches on plastics but nothing major. The fork seal on the right fork looks like it might have a small leak, should be a cheap repair, it does not affect the ride one bit. Radiator tab that holds gas tank plastic was bent by previous owner only cosmetic (can be bent back). We have not owned the bike for very long, my son outgrew it. The title is still in the name of the guy we bought it from who was the original owner (he did sign the title). The motor is a modest 150cc with two camshafts, liquid cooling and a six-speed gearbox. The CB150R features an inverted fork, a front caliper radial mount brake system and optional ABS.

The Italian division of Honda has comprehensively modified the CRF1000L, giving it the dashing style of an experimental vehicle along the way. There is a pretty good attempt to endow the motorcycle with the features of a Dakar monster.

The Japanese proposed a warning system about the danger that lies in wait for the driver in the blind zone. Honda engineers have proposed equipping the motorcycle with cameras and radars that will detect dangerous proximity to another vehicle or pedestrian and warn the driver through light indication or tactile feedback.
Honda is recalling over 20,000 Shadows in the US

The reason was the vibration from the engine, which over time leads to chafing of the fall sensor wire in the common harness.
