Bike is in really good condition, it does have some typical dirt bike scratches on plastics but nothing major. The fork seal on the right fork looks like it might have a small leak, should be a cheap repair, it does not affect the ride one bit. Radiator tab that holds gas tank plastic was bent by previous owner only cosmetic (can be bent back). We have not owned the bike for very long, my son outgrew it. The title is still in the name of the guy we bought it from who was the original owner (he did sign the title). I split the cases about 5 years ago and put in new bearings and seals, and a fresh top end, I was going to do some vintage racing but I have not ridden the bike since that was done. Bike was made to look like David Bailey's 86 and it does. Check out the period stickers. David has also signed the front number plate. I probably have over $9000.00 invested in this bike. The only part I have not been able to find is a new front brake line. This one functions fine but is weathered and ugly. Bike has been in storage for 5 years. After a little work, the bike is running fine; however, it has a coolant leak, most likely at the water pump. Engine oil can be contaminated with water. I have purchased the two water pump seals; however, I have not installed them. They will be sold with bike. Bike exterior appears to be in really good shape, plastics are a little faded with some minor scratches. Side motor case has been repainted. Rear tire in good shape, front tire is weathered from age and forks have leaked at some point. Overall in very good shape for it's age and not being restored. Bike is sold as is. Thu, 10 Jul 2014When American Honda officially announced the new 2015 CB300F this morning, it didn’t take long to realize the naked version of the CBR300R would not be offered with anti-lock brakes. The lack of ABS, even as an option, was one of the things that differentiated it from the CBR300R which offered it at a $500 premium. That’s not the case north of the border however, as Honda Canada confirmed it will offer the CB300F with ABS as standard equipment.

The 2015 Honda CB300F shares the same chassis and 286cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine as the CBR300R. The engine itself is similar to the CBR250R’s powerplant, but with the piston stroke increased to 63mm from 55mm.

Pedrosa Staying with Repsol Honda Through 2016 MotoGP Season
Wed, 09 Jul 2014Honda has signed Dani Pedrosa to a two-year contract extension that will see the Spanish racer stay with its factory MotoGP team through the 2016 season. By the end of the contract, Pedrosa will have spent a whole decade racing for Honda in the premier class to go with another five seasons in the 125cc and 250cc classes. The signing follows a similar two-year contract extension for Pedrosa’s teammate, the reigning World Champion Marc Marquez while over in the Yamaha camp, Valentino Rossi also recently signed a two-year contract extension, making 2016 the year to watch for silly season drama.
