    Vintage 1986 Honda CR 500.  I am the second owner and I was very impressed with what this bike can do.  All of the stories that you have heard are true.  This bike was one of the untuned bikes made from Honda.  My good friend Jim, a great rider in every sense said it best " This bike is stupid fast"  This bike is NOT for the weak at heart or beginners.  The bike is completely original, it has only been ridden about sixty times.  I replaced the handle bars, and had the transmission completely gone through.  I placed a white decal over the original yellow placard for a look that I liked.  It can be removed if someone wanted to go back to the yellow. This bike is currently registered in California and it has a green sticker.  Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions.     This bike is an original 1997 Honda CR 500 it has not been modified or abused, the engine and running gear are all that came with the bike, the bike has really low hours considering the age of the unit. It has been very well maintained, the original owner only rode the bike once, not being a very good rider suffered a broken wrist and stored the bike.The motorcycle is extremely fast and is not recommended for a novice rider.The bike has some miner cosmetic issues 2 small dents in the exhaust, miner wear on the side case next to the rear brake pedal, and small repair to the seat cover.The unit will be sold as local pickup only,the buyer can make arrangements for pickup. I ASKED HIM IF I COULD COME LOOK AT IT  AT 10 AT NIGHT HE SAID OK  SO I DROVE THE HOUR  AND  THIS GUY HAD THIS BIKE WRAPPED UP IN 4 SLEEPING BAGS AND HE SAID WAS HIS SONS BUT HAS NOT BEEN DRVIN IN THE LAST 35 YEARS  SO I WAS EXCITED TO GET THIS BIKE HOME AND SEE WHAT IT  WOULD DO. WELL IT TOOK A QUICK CARB CLEAN AND I SQUIRTED SOME OIL DOWN THE CYLINDER RINSED OUT THE TANK AND MAKE UP A QUICK BATCH OF KLOTZ AND GAS AND CLEANED AIR FILTER AND 4 KICKS LATER THE ENGINE CAME TO  LIFE.  WELL WHEN I DROVE THIS DOWN THE ROAD YEP IT STILL HAS THE  BUAHHHHH BUAHHHHH BUAHHHH THRU THE GEARS OH YEAH,  BUT HEARING THE PISTON NOISE I  KNEW IT WOULD NEED A FRESH PISTON AND BORE  TO QUIET THE FAST AIR COOLED ENGINE.  ALSO  LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE DID THE FORWARD MOUNTED SHOCKS SETUP AS ALOT OF EARLIER MOTOCROSSERS DID  DO GAIN A FEW MORE INCHES OF TRAVEL.

     This fully restored vintage 1978 Elsinore CR125 is one of the classic collectible survivors. We believe the bike was restored by vintage iron in CA and had approximately 8k worth of restoration. It is believed to have spent it’s restored life as part of the Primm Collection in Las Vegas and then with the Moto Armory.  As you can see from the photos this bike is still in show room condition and runs great.

Technical details revealed in Swiss vehicle data Honda‘s been teasing its new Hornet for several months now, first with a concept at EICMA, some design sketches in June, and more recently, details about its new Parallel-Twin engine. While we wait for Honda to officially reveal the the bike, we’ve managed to get further specifications for the 2023 Honda Hornet, thanks to vehicle certification data from Switzerland. The Swiss data lines up with what Honda has already revealed about the Hornet, including its 755cc Parallel-Twin Unicam engine and its claimed output of 90.5 hp at 9500 rpm, 55.3 lb-ft.

Honda Announces Electric Motorcycle Plans

Carbon neutrality by 2040 Honda announced plans for a carbon neutral future and a goal of introducing 10 or more electric motorcycles by 2025 including three mid-range models and a youth model for North America. Until now, Honda has been very tentative when it comes to electrification, with its main focus being on developing swappable battery packs for electric two-wheelers. Its Japanese counterparts Yamaha and Kawasaki have outlined their own plans, while in North America, Harley-Davidson is days away from finalizing its LiveWire spin-off.
