Honda CR description

Last year of the Honda 250 2stroker! Bike runs strong, very fast! Has 4hours on a top and bottom end rebuild. Front forks need to be re-sealed. Rear Michelin starcross tire is 90%. Chain n sprockets are near new. Rear fender is cracked, and has been "frankensteined" back together (zip-ties.) I love riding this thing, but one of my bikes has to go to make room in the garage.

PAYMENT: Deposit is due within 24hrs of purchase. Balance due will be due at or prior to pickup/delivery of the bike.

DELIVERY: Buyer is responsible for pickup/delivery, any or all fees associated with shipping or delivery. I will gladly work with the buyer to arrange delivery, prepping, emptying the fuel, etc..etc..

NOTE: I will be willing to meet at a prescribed place AT MY CONVEINCE to cut a little of the travel out of your trip if you choose to drive and pick the bike up yourself for a fee. Fee will be negotiated at the time of the sale.

NOTE*: This is a USED off road/racing bike. It is not NEW by any means. On the other hand, it not abused, nor is it a P.O.S. I have sold 30 or better motorcycles through out the years I've been dealing on eBay. Check out my feedback, I am being upfront with any known discrepancies I know of on this bike.

NOTE**: I have NO TITLE for this machine, bill of sale will be provided at buyers request. NC does not require a title for off road vehicles.

Very, very, very fast Honda C90!

Fri, 26 Nov 2010

Takegawa are a company based on Osaka, Japan. They make so many hop-up parts for small Honda engines that it's possible to build a brand new, complete engine from their catalogue using no Honda parts at all. Four valve heads, double overhead camshaft kits, stroker cranks, big bore Nikasil barrels, slipper pistons, dry clutches, huge carbs and close ratio gear kits are all available.

A Different Bike Magazine

Thu, 12 Feb 2009

Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.

Kenny Roberts Motorcycle Collection Up For Sale

Wed, 25 Apr 2012

Motorcycling legend Kenny Roberts has commissioned RMD Motors to auction off some rare and exclusive motorcycles from his collection, presumably to make room for more. The Japan-based company is known the world over for its collection of rare and classic motorcycles for sale, many of which are retired grand prix machines fortunate enough to escape the fate of most decommissioned racebikes: the crusher.  Headlining the Roberts collection is the 2004 Proton KRV5 originally ridden by Kurtis Roberts, King Kenny’s youngest son. The five-cylinder grand prix machine never achieved much success on the world stage, but will easily make you the center of attention at your local trackday.
