looking to sell my bike to pay off some bills. the bike runs great, starts first few kicks every time. it has the 2012 450f front fender and number plate and a one industries complete seat. The bike also has ASV unbreakable folding brake and clutch levers. I have a few extra sprockets to go with the bike as well.
the top end only has 2 hours on vertex piston kit and cylinder replating from millennium technologies. also had power valves serviced while they had the cylinder. about 20 hours on the bottom end of the engine. I just added a 38mm pwk air striker carb from JD jetting (includes the JD jetting jet kit as well) and a new vforce3 reed cage and reeds. I also replaced the throttle cable and throttle tube (from motionpro) and grips as well. The front tire is about 80% and the rear tire is about 50%. the suspension has been resprung and revalved for 220 pound intermediate mx. I have the stock Springs as well. the fork seals and fluid have about 3 hours on them. The bike is ready to go, oil and filter changed every other ride. I'm sure I'm forgetting somethings. just text or email me if you have any questions. $500 deposit through paypal due within 48 hours. Full payment due within 7 days. Day 11 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Extends Overall Lead
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Day 11 marked the longest stage to date of the Dakar Rally, as the competitors tackled the 605km (376 miles) special stage, covering a variety of terrain, hard ground, mountains, plus 120km (75 miles) of sand and dunes in the Copiapo area. Despite this, and a fall at the beginning of the stage, Marc Coma again demonstrated his status as boss of the Dakar 2014, by picking up his third victory of the year, further reinforcing his position at the top of the general standings. Five-time Dakar winner Cyril Depres opened the piste for 400km before dropping slightly to finish just 02:31 behind Marc Coma in first.
Honda Sold 16.8 Million Motorcycles in 2013
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Honda announced sales of 16.8 million motorcycles in 2013, an improvement of 8.7% from the 15.5 million motorcycles sold in 2012. The announcement was made two days before Honda’s third quarter report for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2013, so we will have to wait to hear the financial impact, but based on these numbers, the quarterly report should be positive.
2013 Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance World Championship Results
Mon, 29 Jul 2013The Musashi HARC-Pro Honda team of Leon Haslam, Michael van der Mark and Takumi Takahashi captured the 2013 Suzuka 8 Hours race. The Musashi team was joined on the podium by the Yoshimura Suzuki team of Takuya Tsuda, Nobuatsu Aoki and Josh Brookes and the Kagayama Suzuki team of Yukio Kagayama, Noriyuki Haga and Kevin Schwantz. The Musashi team completed 214 laps to win the endurance race.
