Honda CR description

Street Legal 2002 Honda CR250R (2 Stroke)
Texas title and tags
I bought the bike a few months ago without a title. I have since done all of the work below, and got it titled and registered to drive on the street. It is 100% ready to go.
All parts listed below are new.
  • All bearings have been replaced. (wheels, suspension, steering neck, swingarm, etc.)
  • Brakes were rebuilt with new hoses, pads and fluid. Calipers were both rebuilt as well.
  • FMF Gnarly exhaust pipe. O-rings, springs and gasket replaced at the same time.
  • eBay brake away levers
  • Pillow Top grips
  • Wiring harness from ProCycle.us
  • Head light, tail light and turn signals from ProCycle.us
  • 50W Stator from Ricky Stator
  • Light switches, horn and mirror from ProCycle.us
  • Trail Tech Vapor computer
  • Silicon cooling hoses
  • Radiators
  • Tusk shifter
  • Flo chain and sprockets (currently 14/51)
  • Fork guards
  • MSR Kickstand

Previous owner had the following parts already installed.
  • Hinson clutch
  • Hinson clutch cover
  • Stealhy 14 oz. flywheel weight
  • FMF Turbine Core 2
  • Renthal Twin Wall handlebars
  • Anodized Red handlebar clamps
  • Polished the frame
It does have a key, but it only controls the lights and accessories. It does not control the ignition at all.
I didn't replace any of the plastic, except for the forks guards. I do not know if its original or not. It looks great, so I left it in place.

I have $4400 in it. Reserve is set at $3500.

2014 WSBK – Portimao Results

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.

Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season

Thu, 01 Sep 2011

Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.

Honda CBR250R Sticking Around for 2014, Getting Facelift to Match New CBR300R

Mon, 28 Oct 2013

Earlier this month, Honda unveiled a new CBR300R model at the CIMAMotor show in Chongqing, China. The assumption was the 286cc CBR300R would replace the CBR250R as Honda’s entry-level sportbike. The CBR250R isn’t completely disappearing however, as Honda announced the 2014 version will be appearing at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, Nov.
