This is a 2001 Honda CR500. The bike is in very good physical and operational condition. Bike has original steel bars. The rubber around the throttle and clutch lever doesn't even have any wear. The fork tubes and these guards don't even look like the bike has ever followed anyone. It was on the original tires and we replaced the rear with a new one. It has an almost new FMF full exhaust installed. The bike starts and runs excellent and it needs nothing to ride or display. The wheels, swingarm and lower frame do show some typical wear but no rust/corrosion issues as this is an Arizona bike. The seat cover is original and does have a couple blemishes but no tears. The gas tank has some light discoloration. This bike will include the Arizona Title, notarized and ready to sign over to the new owner. In Arizona titles are not labeled as on or off road and this title can be used to register this bike for on road use HERE. It is up to you to determine the laws in your state and I cannot help with that. I will ship at buyers expense and arrangement. Hero MotoCorp Reveals RNT 150 Turbo Direct Injection Diesel Concept
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Hero MotoCorp revealed a new scooter concept powered by a 150cc turbocharged direct injection diesel engine. And if that isn’t unique enough, the concept is also two-wheel drive, with an electric motor in the front wheel hub. It’s too soon to know when the Hero RNT 150 TDI concept will ever make it to serial production, but the scooter does represent a technological show of force, proving that Hero can carry on its own research and development following its split from longtime partner Honda.
The New Fastest Electric Motorcycle Lap, With John McGuinness + Video
Fri, 06 Jun 2014Earlier this week, John McGuinness won the single-lap TT Zero electric motorcycle race at the Isle of Man TT aboard his Mugen Shinden San. In the process, the 21-time TT winner smashed the old lap record of 109.675 mph, setting an average speed of 117.366 mph from a standing start. To put that in perspective, McGuinness’ teammate, Bruce Anstey, aboard a sister Mugen, set the outright lap record earlier this week aboard his Honda CBR1000RR superbike of over 132 mph.
