Honda CR description

Selling my 2000 Honda CR250R Dirtbike.  I purchased this bike a couple years ago.  It has been used strictly for smooth trail riding for me with my family.  This bike is more made for track riding but I just liked the overall look of it and is why I purchased it for riding on the trails.  I am currently moving to a new state and must sell some of my toys to help pay for the move.

It has many extras.  FMF Pipe and exhaust, Pro Taper bars, breakaway clutch and front brake levers.  New rear tire installed with six rides on it.  Aftermarket graphics kit and fenders.  Wheels have been powder coated black by previous owner.  It has some minor rust on bottom of exhaust and rear bracket that holds up exhaust canister is broken.  Currently I have it held up with a strap.  There is also a few dings on the exhaust pipe (see pictures).  Hand grips could be replaced as they are slightly worn from normal use.  Some minor scratches here and there but very minimal for 13 year old bike.  Very clean overall.

Overall this bike has been a great performer.  Plenty of power and runs great.  Bike comes with red front fender as shown in picture.  I do not have the white fender anymore.  Bike has been stored under cover.  Clean title in hand.  I am located in Federal Way, Washington.  Buyer is responsible for pickup.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I will respond quickly.

Japan Needs Your Help

Thu, 17 Mar 2011

By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees  and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.

Yamaha Planning Sub-$500 Model to Undercut Honda Dream Yuga

Fri, 25 May 2012

Not long after Honda launched its ultra low-cost Dream Yuga in India, Yamaha announced it is considering a new own model that will be nearly 40% cheaper. The 109cc Dream Yuga is Honda‘s latest weapon in the battle for India’s 13-million unit per year motorcycle market. Priced at 44,642 Indian rupees (US$806), the Dream Yuga is the most affordable Honda model available in India.

2013 European Junior Cup to Use Honda CBR500R

Wed, 14 Nov 2012

As expected, Honda announced its new CBR500R sportbike will be featured in the 2013 European Junior Cup, a single-spec racing series that competes at European rounds of the World Superbike Championship. We saw this coming when Honda announced it would supply an all new sportbike for the European Junior Cup, but the news wasn’t official until after Honda unveiled the CBR500R alongside its siblings the CB500F and CB500X at the 2012 EICMA Show. Plus this also gives us an excuse to run a 39-picture gallery of the new CBR500R after the jump.
