If your looking at this auction, you realize how rare these bikes are! This 2000 CR500 is Ready to Ride or just to be added to your collection! This bike runs and shifts like a "raped ape"!!! Adult owned always garaged, a nice tidy low hour machine! Not for the beginner. FMF pipe, newer tyres, stock top end, tons of compression. No flatspots, frame is perfect... The rear shock is a little soft? They don't make these monsters anymore! Grab one while you can, these collector bikes will only appreciate in value! This is a good solid bike, it will put a smile on your face and make your heart skip a beat! Disclaimer: I've described the bike to the best of my ability, if something slips by it was not intentional, I don't check spokes or wheel bearings/swingarm bearings on the bikes I sell. Wed, 06 Apr 2011It's not every day you get to bomb around a field that was set aside for The Pope but that's exactly what we've done this morning; the first proper day of our Get On Africa adventure. We started the morning at the Riders for Health workshop where the mechanics took us through their setup and maintenance program for their bikes. The celebs ran through the basics of bike maintainance, the mechanic boasted that bikes never come back to the workshop broken, they just come in for scheduled servicing.
Florida to Alaska and Back on a Honda CBR125R
Tue, 24 May 2011A 65-year-old man from Windsor, Ontario, Canada is attempting a cross-continent ride from Key West, Fla., to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska and back, on a Honda CBR125R. Bob Munden of Windsor is attempting to set the record for the smallest motorcycle to make the trip from the southernmost accessible point in North America to the northernmost point, and back. A print shop owner with a stable of five motorcycles, Munden will attempt the trip on the 124.7cc single-cylinder four-stroke Honda CBR125R, an entry-level sportbike model Honda offers in Canada.
Hopkins to Sit Out 2013 Racing Season to Recover from Injuries
Tue, 09 Oct 2012American John Hopkins announced he is taking a sabbatical from racing for 2013 to recover from a number of significant injuries. Hopkins’ once very promising racing career has been hampered by both a series of bad luck and injury. It seems so long ago that Hopkins finished fourth overall in the 2007 MotoGP Championship with Suzuki.
