Honda CR tech info

Honda CR description
For sale is my Fathers 1998 CR250R, the bike was purchased new and owned by him for the entire 18 yrs. He has had all makes and models over the past 20 yrs but this is the only one he kept until now, health reasons are the only reason its for sale. The bike was ported and polished by Pro-Circuit and had Front and Rear suspension re-valved by Factory Connection in 1999, bike also includes a full FMF exhaust, Renthal Bars and Grip Guards. This bike is faster and handles better than the current 450s. If you want something different and faster than the current crop of 450s at the track than this bike is for you.....again this bike is very fast and not for beginning riders. Also a huge plus of a 2 stoke bike over the 4 stroke is the low cost to operate and maintain.....no valves to adjust and less internal parts to break .I have full confidence that once you see this bike and start it you will be hooked. This bike is also listed locally so I have the right to end the auction at anytime. Item is pickup only. |

2023 Honda XR150L Review – First Ride
Wed, 05 Jul 2023This entry-level offering checks all the boxes for new riders and seasoned enthusiasts alike Photos by Jay McNally The Honda XR150 has been in production since 2003, though up until recently it wasn’t available in the US market. Selling most of the units in Asia or Latin America, the XR150 platform is one of the most popular entry-level dual-sports, and its introduction to the US comes with some welcome perks; time tested engine and components plus a 20-year history of available parts – both OEM and aftermarket. Honda’s reliability is legendary, and this little XR150L is likely no exception.
475cc NS400R. Marquez and Spencer.
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Winter may be here but I seem to be as busier than ever, maybe the economy is finally turning around. At my last UK track day of the year I had some fun testing this little beauty. It’s a late eighties NS400 triple bored out to 475cc and it felt sweet as I zinged round the GP Arena track at Silverstone. Being stripped bare to reduce weight gives it a very respectable power to weight ratio which means it could live with 600s (on the twisty bits at least).
