This bike is an original 1997 Honda CR 500 it has not been modified or abused, the engine and running gear are all that came with the bike, the bike has really low hours considering the age of the unit. It has been very well maintained, the original owner only rode the bike once, not being a very good rider suffered a broken wrist and stored the bike.The motorcycle is extremely fast and is not recommended for a novice rider.The bike has some miner cosmetic issues 2 small dents in the exhaust, miner wear on the side case next to the rear brake pedal, and small repair to the seat cover.The unit will be sold as local pickup only,the buyer can make arrangements for pickup. McGuinness Tests Mugen Shinden Electric Race Bike
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Isle of Man TT veteran John McGuinness recently got a chance to test the new Mugen Shinden electric rice bike to prepare for the 2012 TT Zero. The test took place at the Twin Ring Motegi in Japan, a world-class racing circuit but perhaps not-coincidentally, a track built and owned by Honda, further fueling the belief the Mugen effort is a front for the Japanese manufacturer. The Honda-contracted McGuinness put the Shinden through its first big test, helping the Mugen team gather data on the electric racer.
EICMA 2013: Honda NC700 Family Gets Upgraded to 750 – But Not in US
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Honda announced at the 2013 EICMA show the NC700 series would get a number of upgrades including an extra 75cc in displacement. Unfortunately, it does not look like those upgrades will make it to the U.S. As Honda made its EICMA presentation American Honda announced a number of updates to returning 2014 models including the NC700X.
