Honda CR description

PLEASE read this ENTIRE listing description before clicking the Buy it Now.

Here is a used 1989 Honda CR250 Moto-Cross Bike.  This bike is used, but in very good shape.  It runs excellent.  Motor has very stout compression.  Transmission shifts smooth throughout all the gears.  Clutch works smooth and strong with no chatter.  The front and rear suspension works good, but the forks are leaking some and this will need new seals at some time.  This has a brand new chain slider pad on the swing arm.  Good brakes both front and rear.  Tires are in very good shape.  No dents or cracks in either wheel, with good wheel bearings.  Sprockets and chain are in good shape.  All of the plastic is in pretty nice shape.  No cracks, but there are are some scratches, scuffs and just normal wear.  Seat cover has no tears, but it is stained in some areas.  Overall, this is a very nice 1989 CR250 Honda.  This comes with a clear Michigan title.

$100 non-refundable Paypal deposit is required at the time of purchase. The Balance is to be paid in cash or United States Postal Service Money Order. Possibly other methods of payment are a option. Please ask about this before clicking the Buy it Now.

It’s a platform “specifically engineered to make motorcycling more approachable, affordable and fun than ever before.” Our own Troy Siahaan is at the CTX700 models’ launch in Chicago and will have a full first-hand report next week, but for now here’s a quick look at Honda’s new streetbikes.

Joey Dunlop on a V4 Honda at the '83 TT

Fri, 28 Sep 2012

Onboard video footage doesn't get a lot better than this: Joey Dunlop during practice at the TT in 1983 onboard a factory Honda RS850R. An 859cc ultra-short stroke V4 Honda that Joey mastered around The Island, later winning the TT Formula 1. Although the 'production' race, the RS850R stretched that to the limit.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Los Angeles Results

Mon, 23 Jan 2012

Chad Reed won his first race of the 2012 AMA Supercross season in Los Angeles but the victory was overshadowed by a first-lap collision that left Trey Canard and Ryan Morais with broken backs. Racing for Team Honda Muscle Milk, Canard was injured on the first lap after catching a piece of some signage. That forced him to single a triple jump, putting him in the path of Star Valli Yamaha rider Ryan Morais who landed on Canard from behind.
