Just broken in with only three hours running time since put back together. 2 new knobby tires. Replaced front forks with better forks and more travel. Pro link mono shock rear. 6 gear gearbox. Well cared for. I stand five feet 10ins tall and this bike fits me perfect, feet flat on the ground. Fast, Fun, Fair price $495. I even have a title! I hate watching this bike sit and grow cobwebs. Recall on Kuryakyn Transformer Passenger Floorboards for Honda Gold Wing
Tue, 20 Dec 2011Accessory manufacturer Küryakyn is issuing a recall on its Transformer passenger floorboards for the 2001-2011 Honda Gold Wing. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounts of the Küryakyn Transformer floorboards may crack and break free from the mounting bolts. The floorboards may unexpectedly fall off the motorcycle, potentially leading to a crash or injury.

Tue, 10 Jan 2012My long-term Fireblade went back to Honda last week and, seeing as it’s sunny and mild outside now, I’m already missing it. It is one of the best 1000cc sports bikes out there, I don’t care what anyone else says, the way it makes its power is just perfect for fast road use. With the Power Commander 5 fitted and the fuelling sorted my 2011 Blade performed as well if not better than the 2012 version.
