Honda CR description

Vintage 1986 Honda CR 500.  I am the second owner and I was very impressed with what this bike can do.  All of the stories that you have heard are true.  This bike was one of the untuned bikes made from Honda.  My good friend Jim, a great rider in every sense said it best " This bike is stupid fast"  This bike is NOT for the weak at heart or beginners.  The bike is completely original, it has only been ridden about sixty times.  I replaced the handle bars, and had the transmission completely gone through.  I placed a white decal over the original yellow placard for a look that I liked.  It can be removed if someone wanted to go back to the yellow. This bike is currently registered in California and it has a green sticker.  Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions. Honda is bringing the VFR back for 2012, much to our pleasure, and thankfully the company has spent the past two years developing some subtle but significant changes to it.
