This 1984 CR500 is Ready to be restored and added to your collection! 84 Honda CR-500 s/n JH2PE0206EC304119 This bike runs and shifts without any problems. This is a restoration project, the seat needs new foam, the compression is low but the bike will run. probably needs new chain and sprockets, etc. They don't make these monsters anymore! Grab one while you can, these collector bikes will only appreciate in value! This is a good solid bike, it will put a smile on your face and make your heart skip a beat! Disclaimer: I've described the bike to the best of my ability, if something slips by it was not intentional, I don't check spokes or wheel bearings/swingarm bearings on the bikes I sell. I describe the obvious things I see, so understand that you are purchasing a 16+ year bike and some items may need attention above and beyond what I have noted. Honda Reports Q4 2012-2013 Results – North American Motorcycle Sales Up 25%
Fri, 26 Apr 2013Honda reported sales of 15.5 million motorcycles for its fiscal year ended March 31, 2013. That marks a 2.8% increase from the 15.1 motorcycles sold the previous fiscal year. Sales were particularly strong in North America where Honda reported a 25% increase in motorcycles sold.
Hero MotoCorp Forms Joint Venture with Magneti Marelli
Wed, 04 Dec 2013Indian manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is teaming up with electronic fuel injection expert Magneti Marelli in a new joint venture. Hero will hold a 60% share in the company with Magenti Marelli controlling the other 40%. The two companies are initially investing a combined US$8.5 million into the joint venture, with a planned investment of US$27 million total over the next ten years.

The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.
