Honda CR tech info
Honda CR description
Now is your chance to own a legend. Up for sale is my 1984 Honda CR500. I am the second owner of the bike and have owned it since the late 80's. The bike has been parked for many years with thoughts of restoring it some day but the day has never come. Any of you that have ever ridden one of these air cooled rocket ships know that there is nothing like it. The power band is never ending and comes on like a light switch. I never found a hill that I couldn't climb in 3rd gear.
I rebuilt the top end and installed the paddle rear tire just before my last outing to Glamis more than 12 years ago. Since then, the bike has been parked inside. It kicks through freely and should start easily after a little attention. The carb was replaced years ago with a square slide Mikuni to give it even more response. Chances are it could use a little love although I am pretty sure I ran it out of fuel before parking it. Feel free to ask me any questions you want about the bike. Hopefully it will sell to someone that will restore it back to its original glory. Thanks for looking |

VTR-Powered Honda Lawnmower Sets Guinness World Record + Video
Wed, 02 Apr 2014A lawnmower powered by the engine from a Honda VTR1000F Superhawk has set a new Guinness record for the world’s fastest mower. Honda UK revealed its 996cc V-Twin-powered Mean Mower last summer, claiming it had been tested at a speed of 100 mph but could reach a theoretical top speed of 133 mph. Those claims were put to the test in March at the IDIADA Proving Ground in Tarragona, Spain, with an official Guinness World Records adjudicator on hand to observe.

New Honda Hornet Concept Revealed at EICMA
Fri, 26 Nov 2021The 2021 EICMA show was a lot more subdued than previous iterations, without very many big surprises. Most of the bikes that were shown were expected to some degree, and many were evolutionary updates to motorcycles that have been around for a few years. But there was one reveal that seemed to come out of nowhere, and left us with more questions than answers: the Honda Hornet concept.
