Honda CR description

All original except for the rear fender. Engine was completely rebuilt 5 years ago but only has about 50 hours, it is on it's last bore at .80 over. It has not been ridden in three years. Last year I removed the engine and welded a crack in on of the lower engine mount tabs, installed a new clutch and new chain. The rear shock has been rebuilt and has a Race Tech gold valve.  Frame is powder coated, Gripper seat. Wear parts are now available from DC plastics. I started it up and it runs perfect. This is a nice vintage dirt bike that is ready to go, just add premix! Yes that is a photo of me racing this bike at Carlsbad in 1998.

Honda And Repsol Celebrate 20 Years Together

Mon, 10 Feb 2014

If we were to play a game of word association, the mention of “Repsol” would automatically trigger “Honda” from the audience, or at least anyone who pays the slightest bit of attention to Grand Prix racing. That’s because the two companies have achieved much success in this, their 20th year as partners. The longest running partnership between sponsor and manufacturer in the history of the Motorcycle World Championship, Repsol Honda has won 10 World titles, 124 race wins and 338 podiums in 500cc and MotoGP.
