Honda CR tech info
Honda CR description
If you're looking at this bike you may know what you're looking at. Of course in 1980 CR 250, the red rocket is a wonderful vintage race bike. The last CR with dual shocks, first with plastic tank - but it also the first Honda product made in the United States! They took a cornfield and 64 local Ohioans and made 5000 of these bikes. a few years later cars and all kinds of Honda stuff was being made in the states car sect. but in 1980 with union resistance it was a little more complicated. This bike could be a museum piece and is nicer in person than the photos I have taken. The seat has a little burn mark on it and the right side of the swing arm should be touched up or repainted. This
Is bike was used very little and is in I think very nice shape. Being from Ohio I reall thought I would restore it and keep it as a part of Ohio and Honda history but I'm not. This bike will need a little cosmetic going over but I think it is really too nice to ride and should end up in a museum somewhere ,oh well , I'm letting her go.
