Manuf date 3/79 I had bought this bike to race in the Post Vintage series, starting in April. Little did I know that finding a 23" front tire would be such a chore. It seems that the only manufacturer who makes a full knobby 23" is Cheng Shin. I have had a tire on order from Chapparel Motorsports since April 1st. Status has been two weeks, then two weeks then first of May, first of June.... I give up. I know ..put a 21" wheel on it..blah blah blah. Would make a nice restoration or racer. Just want to recoup some money to put towards something else. Anyway, on the to the good stuff. I bought in Northern Ohio in March, Previous owner did new top end. Runs very strong!! 6 speed! This bike is fast! Stock tank is in very good condition-just two slight dents. Tank alone is probably worth a few bucks. Tire that is on front is the stock Honda Trail Wing, holds air, has some dry rot cracks. Did ride up and down field with it. Also included is a new tube for it. 2015 Honda CB300F Gets CARB Approval
Wed, 18 Jun 2014The Honda CBR300R will be joined by a naked model, if new certification documents from the California Air Resources Board are any indication. Back in March, we broke the story of a design patent for a new small-displacement naked Honda based on its CBR300R/CBR250R platform. CARB has certified a new model called the 2015 Honda CB300F along with the CBR300R and its ABS-equipped variant.
Honda to Shift Mid and Large Displacement Motorcycle Production to Thailand
Tue, 29 Nov 2011Honda is reportedly moving production of 400cc and larger motorcycles to Thailand from Japan to reduce production costs and overcome the rising value of the yen. According to Japanese news outlet Daily Yomiuri, Honda plans to produce 400cc and 500cc models at a new factory to be built in the suburbs of Bangkok, Thailand. Honda currently produces small displacement models such as the CBR250R in Thailand, with larger models coming out of Honda’s factory in Kumamoto, Japan.
