Up for Sale is a 1975 Honda CR125M Elsinore MX motorcycle. Frame # CR125M-2006671. Motor # CR125ME-2006696. It does not run, has been sitting since the 1980's. Engine turns over. Has spark, Front brake cable is missing. Rear works as it should. Shifts through the gears. Gas Tank has a small Dent (see picture). Rear wheel is bent. Has a broken cylinder head fin.You receive what is pictured. Please see my other vintage motorcycles and parts. Press launches - the ugly truth. Part 3
Sun, 03 Apr 2011So with an afternoon of sightseeing completed (a rare luxury on most launches) it's back to the hotel for the press conference. These are you usually long winded, tooth pulling affairs with Japanese technicians insisting on speaking their bestest engrish which only serves to elongate the proceedings. Nothing kills a presentation more than reading every word of a powerpoint slide verbatum, even thought the viewers can read exactly the same words (and probably a lot faster). The Crossrunner presentation was mercifully brief and snappy followed by dinner in the hotel and a reasonably early night as everyone had already been up for twenty hours.

Sun, 19 Dec 2021This sweet Honda lost out to the Triumph Speed Triple ten years ago, mostly for a deficit of horsepower. But now that all ten-year old motorcycles are archaic compared to the current crop, we like it even better than we did then. The Honda CBR1000R was light-handling, easy-riding and even nice to look at.
