I NEEDED VERY LITTLE EFFORT TO SEE THE BIKE WAS A PRISTINE MACHINE FOR DISPLAY ON A SHOWROOM, OR RACED IN THE EVO CLASS VINTAGE MX. THE FRAME IS PAINTED WITH THE OEM PAINT COLOR NEW TIRES, BUCHANON SPOKES, ON GOLD EXCELL RIMS! I PUT ALL NEW PLASTICS ON THE BIKE, CABLES, GRIPS, SEAT COVER. ENGINE WAS PORTED POLISHED, CARB JETTED, ALL NEW CRANK BEARINGS, TOP END. BIKE IS A GOOD ONE TO RIDE SINCE QUITE AGILE, LIGHT FOR AN OPEN BIKE! NEW THROTTLE ASSEMBLY! Honda MotoGP Production Racer Undergoes Testing at Motegi
Mon, 27 May 2013Development of Honda‘s new production racer is well underway, as the new (relatively) low-cost MotoGP racebike underwent testing at Japan’s Twin Ring Motegi circuit May 23-24. Conceived as a lower-cost option for race teams, the production racer project is running slightly behind schedule but Honda still expects it will available in time for the 2014 MotoGP season. Early reports estimate the price for the production racer to be around US$1.26 million, a substantial price, but still considerably less expensive than rumored $3.9 million it currently costs to lease a Honda RC213V for one season.
Simoncelli Funeral Services Held in Italy
Thu, 27 Oct 2011Fans, friends, family members and prominent figures from the world of sports attended the funeral services for Marco Simoncelli at the Santa Maria Assunta church in Coriano on Thursday, October 27th. The casket was carried into the Assunta church by friends and members of the Gresini team, and at 3pm the services commenced. Flanking the casket was Simoncelli’s 2008 250cc World Championship Gilera bike on one side, and his MotoGP Honda RC212V on the other. Also in attendance was FIM president Vito Ippolito and CEO of Dorna Sports, Carmelo Ezpeleta.
