Honda CL description
You are looking at a 99% complete as far as I can tell (no tool kit) 1972 Honda CL350 Scrambler with a title!
This would make a great winter restoration or cafe racer project. The biggest issue is the gas tank. It is very rusty inside as you can see in the photo but the tank is very solid and not rusted through. You could clean it if you have the capability. Kicks over with very good compression. Rolls nicely and does go into gear. The seat is in very good shape with no visible holes or tears. I did clean up just a little of the chrome in some spots to see how it would clean up. As expected is has the typical rust and oxidation from sitting for so long. Again I do have the title and in my name. I was not planning on selling which is why I paid to have it transferred in my name but I bought a "toy" and decided to sell this bike so the wife wouldn't get too mad at me! If you are going to go the "cafe" route with the bike and would not want the exhaust I would remove it and sell the bike for $80 less. If you have any questions, please ask! If you would like to inspect the bike prior to the sale please contact me asap but I can not guarantee someone will not buy it prior to inspection. I prefer local pick up with cash in hand. If you wish to have the bike shipped you must pay for and set up everything with a shipping company at your cost. I would accept a partial deposit through paypal due within 48 hours. The remaining amount can be paid in cash or a certified USPS mail order/cashiers check. Bike will not be shipped until full payment is received. |

After catching early leader James Hillier of the Quattro Plant Kawasaki team on the opening lap, Dunlop continued to set an impressive first lap time of 17:11.107, which translates to a record average speed of 131.730 mph on the 37.73-mile Mountain Course.
Looking after number 1
Fri, 06 Jan 2012There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.
2013 Honda CRF250L Dual-Sport Officially Announced for US
Tue, 29 May 2012As expected, Honda has officially announced it will introduce its new CRF250L to the U.S., offering it as a 2013 model for $4,499. The 2013 Honda CRF250L is powered by a liquid-cooled fuel-injected 249cc Single inherited from the CBR250R, so it carries the same low-friction innovations such as the roller rocker arm design. Like the CBR, the CRF250L is produced in Thailand, helping keep costs low.
