Honda CL description

1972 Honda CL100 Scrambler.
We recently found this bike sitting in a guys shop for over 20 years. The motor kicks over and I would think it should run with some TLC. The ignition coil is missing as well as the points cover, plastic side covers and headlight lense and ring. The bike has a solid pipe which is hard to find. The tank has some rust inside, but could be cleaned and or sealed? . Bike is hard to find. Sold as is where is not running. NO TITLE There is NO TITLE. Please see pics for bikes condition. What you see in pics is what comes with bike. Dont miss your opportunity to own a CL100! Bike must be paid for within 3 days of auction end or buy it now time! must be picked up in Dunn NC 28334 within 30 days of auction end. Bike is sold as is not running with no title. Bill of sale only. Thanks!! If you have any questions?? Call Billy at Tired Iron Classics at 252-565-2212

Malcolm Smith Autobiography

Wed, 26 Jun 2013

Malcolm! An Autobiography is set to release this December. The large-format (11×11-in.), 300-plus page, hardbound coffee-table book will feature hundreds of photographs from Malcolm’s private archives, many of which have never been seen by the public. “It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally time to do it,” says Smith.

John McGuinness rides the electric future

Sun, 16 Jun 2013

Jump onboard with John McGuinness as he heads from the start line on his Shinden Ni / Mugen electric motorcycle in the TT Zero race. One wonders whether Honda would have announced that it is actually a Honda if McGuinness had taken the win. There's certainly plenty of Honda money behind the bike.

If you thought the license test was hard in America…

Thu, 28 Apr 2011

I’ll be the first to admit that the procedure to get a motorcycle endorsement (and a car license for that matter) in this country is incredibly easy. If you’re smart, you sit in a classroom for a few hours, answer some basic questions, learn all the controls, perform a simple riding test, and you’re off to the races.  Look at what the Japanese have to do to get their certification! Check out the video after the jump.
