Honda CL description

Clean, well maintained, Vintage, street and trail Honda CL175 K5. The Honda has been gone through and many new parts have been installed. New: Tires, Maintenance Free Battery, Ignition points, NGK Spark Plugs, Carburetors have been cleaned and rebuilt. Engine has been tuned, Timing set, Cam Chain tension has been adjusted. New oil seal in the tachometer drive. Used to leak oil, Not anymore! No oil leaks. No smoking. Engine starts right up and idles perfectly. Runs Great! Oil just changed. Drive Chain, Clutch, and Brakes have been adjusted. Brand New Honda OEM Fuel Petcock. Gas tank looks to be Brand New. I believe it is an OEM tank installed not long ago. Gas tank is nearly perfect with absolutely no rust inside and only very minor chips in the paint and one scratch on the right side of tank. No Dents or Dings! Side covers are original and excellent with minor fading of the paint and no cracks or broken tabs. Both have original emblems. Hard to find! The bike has nearly 13,000 miles and so the original factory brakes will need replacing as part of normal maintenance soon. The factory drive chain will also need replacing soon. The seat has been redone and it looks great. No rips, tears, or holes. Everything works on this bike including the electric starter and the Horn. All lights work. Turn signals too! The bike is in Excellent condition and I have tried to describe the bike as best I can. I have listed all of the bikes needs. The Honda has gone down on the right side in the past. The headlight mounting ears are bent to the left and is not noticeable unless one looks close. The steering lock is working but is missing it's cover plate.  I have one original Honda key and one key I had made. I have a clear Illinois title for this bike in my name. I have this bike listed locally and I have had a lot of interest in the bike. I may end this action early if the bike sells locally. Please call my cell phone if you would like to come and see the bike in person. I am located in Aurora, Il. Just about 40 miles West of Chicago.  (331) 205-0600 Make an Offer! $200 deposit through paypal required 24 hours after auction ends. I will accept full payment through Paypal or cash in person only. I will help where I can with a truck coming to pick the bike up here. Please ask questions or send an e-mail before committing to buy this Honda. Make sure I agree with what your plan is.

Bradl learns Laguna on a 'Blade

Thu, 07 Jun 2012

As neither the 125GPs or the Moto2 classes race at Laguna Seca, Stefan Bradl smartly used his time between the Le Mans and Catalunya Grand Prixs to learn the California track and the Corkscrew ahead of the US GP on July 29th. Riding a loaned Fireblade from Honda America, the German took the to undulating circuit on a trackday, reportedly passing other riders very politely - watch a small glimpse of him here. “Moto2 and Moto3 don’t race at Mazda Raceway so we thought it was a good idea to have a first taste of this tight and twisty circuit." said the 2011 Moto2 champion said.

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

Guinness World Records has officially recognized the Barber Motorsports Museum as the world’s largest motorcycle museum in the world. The 144,000-square-foot, five-story museum is home to nearly 1400 motorcycles, of which about 700 are on exhibit. We’ve featured the Barber Museum before, and are completely blown away each time we step foot within its doors. It’s simply awe-inspiring.
