Honda CL description

This 1968 CL 90 is in very good condition. Engine was rebuilt in 2015 (see invoice) tires are new, aluminum fender in good shape, clear title. Include in the sale is a spare original gas tank (with new rubber and emblems)that could be restored , spare original shocks.

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

Dakar Rally organizers announced the death of Belgian racer Eric Palante, 50. The experienced Dakar racer disappeared on the fifth stage which most competitors completed Jan. 9.

Honda Announces CBR400R, CB400F and 400X for Japan

Honda confirmed it will produce a 399cc version of its new 500-series motorcycles for the Japanese market. The Honda CBR400R, CB400F and 400X will be offered in Japan instead of their respective 500 versions, as they are a better fit to the country’s tiered licensing system than the CBR500R, CB500F and CB500X. The new 400 models should come as no surprise after Honda announced in February it would produce a smaller version of the 471cc engine used in the 500 series.
