Honda CL description

Very nice 1966 Honda 305 Scrambler (CL77).  Some parts for a complete restoration are included with the sale.  I am not a collector or bike mechanic but will do the best to describe the bike.

Good battery.  Starts right up and runs well.  Shifts through all gears.  Clutch is a little stiff.

Clear title.

Seat is in excellent shape.  No rips or tears.  Chrome trim excellent.

Chrome is in good shape and tires look to be good as well.

Includes very nice comprehensive repair manual.

Includes original owner's manual - a very hard to find item as well.

Includes vintage era tool kit.

Also included with sale:

Very nice original muffler and gasket included.  No dents, damage or rust.  Chrome is excellent.  A very difficult part to find in any shape, let alone this nice.

Nice original skid plate (not installed).

Brand new reproduction air boxes included with new side cover rubber bumpers.  You can't see that they're missing with the side covers on but they are not there.

With what comes with the bike and the extra parts included, this should be a complete bike to ride or restore.

Disclosures:

Horn does not work.

High beam does not work.

Nice gas tank with small dents  – one on each side of tank, barely visible in photos.

Front fender not perfectly straight with some very small dent on front edge.

Has snuff-or-nots installed on exhaust.

I think the pictures show the condition accurately.  Please email with questions.

Bids from bidders with less then 10 positive feedback will be cancelled.  Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis if the bidder discusses with me before placing a bid.  Bike is for sale as is where is.  No warranty or shipping is offered or included.  A $500 deposit is due via pay pal from the winning bidder within 24 hours of end of auction.  Balance is due in form of bank check.  I will assist with shipping, but you must make the arrangements and pay for shipping.   The bike is located in Verona, Wisconsin, zip code 53593.

2013 AMA Supercross Minneapolis Race Report

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

Hometown hero Ryan Dungey put a stop to Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak, taking the victory before 48,846 supportive fans at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn. The Red Bull KTM rider from nearby Belle Plaine, Minn., stalked Monster Energy Kawasaki‘s Villopoto for most of the race before taking the lead and winning the 20-lap race by just 0.903 seconds. The win put Dungey into second place in the standings ahead of Rockstar Suzuki‘s Davi Millsaps and perhaps more importantly, cut away at Villopoto’s points lead.
