Honda CBR tech info
Honda CBR description
All reasonable offers considered.
I'm looking to sell my 2009 CBR1000 to pay for tuition. The bike is very clean, and has several mods. It DOES have ABS brakes, which are fantastic (for those of you who've never ridden a bike with ABS, you'll never have a street bike without them after you've ridden one).
It's never been raced, abused, or any of the normal sport bike craziness that most of these bikes go through.
Maintenance has been done at all intervals by myself (no backyard mechanics have touched this bike).
Mods include:
- Taylormade Exhaust
- PowerCommander 5
- PowerCommander AutoTune
- Wired for PowerCommander LCD (my LCD broke, otherwise it would be included)
- Bazzaz Z-Bomb
- BMC Race Air Filter
- Rizoma Undertail
- Rizoma LED Plate Bracket
- CustomLED Programmable Taillight
- CustomLED Programmable Indicator Controller
This bike will tune itself for all atmospheric conditions and elevations with AutoTune. No map creation or modification necessary. I've done all the hard work for you.
Serious buyers only (I'm only selling because of tuition).
Buyer arranges (and pays for) shipping and/or pickup.

Bradl learns Laguna on a 'Blade
Thu, 07 Jun 2012As neither the 125GPs or the Moto2 classes race at Laguna Seca, Stefan Bradl smartly used his time between the Le Mans and Catalunya Grand Prixs to learn the California track and the Corkscrew ahead of the US GP on July 29th. Riding a loaned Fireblade from Honda America, the German took the to undulating circuit on a trackday, reportedly passing other riders very politely - watch a small glimpse of him here. “Moto2 and Moto3 don’t race at Mazda Raceway so we thought it was a good idea to have a first taste of this tight and twisty circuit." said the 2011 Moto2 champion said.
Maverick Vinales Quits Blusens Avintia Moto3 Team
Fri, 19 Oct 2012Maverick Vinales seems to be living up to his name, announcing he is leaving the Blusens Avintia team despite sitting second in the Moto3 World Championship with three rounds to go. Vinales traveled with the team to Sepang for the upcoming Malaysian Grand Prix but did not take part in Free Practice and later announced the split. You may remember Vinales from last season when he raced in the former 125cc Grand Prix World Championship for the Paris Hilton-sponsored Blusens-BQR team.
Traction control? Yawn...
Tue, 10 Jan 2012My long-term Fireblade went back to Honda last week and, seeing as it’s sunny and mild outside now, I’m already missing it. It is one of the best 1000cc sports bikes out there, I don’t care what anyone else says, the way it makes its power is just perfect for fast road use. With the Power Commander 5 fitted and the fuelling sorted my 2011 Blade performed as well if not better than the 2012 version.
