Replaced chain, sprockets, tires and fork seals, fork oil, motor oil and filter (2k miles ago).
This is a beautiful bike. It is perfect in every way. The bike has not been dropped or wrecked. There will be no disappointments with this bike.
It is amazing to ride. The power to weight ratio makes this a joy to ride. Although I rarely take it over 5/6k rpms it is extremely smooth and fast. It will take slow hairpin corners in top gear and pull out with no chain snatch, hesitation, or complaint. Very few bikes will do this. Shifting up through the gears is so smooth and effortless that it's almost telepathic. Honda has really done their homework with this bike. I'm only selling it because I have way too many bikes and just bought a new BMW. My wife and I ride together and the BMW works better for us right now. The 929 fires at the instant you hit the starter and then the EFI takes over. No choke needed.
Worth noting is the sizable "trunk" under the rear seat. The rear seat is on a hinge and spring loaded. It pops up with the key and reveals a very large storage area. There's room for water bottles, factory tool kit, rain jacket, or whatever you can fit in there. All bikes should have this.

Honda CBR250R top speed run
Sun, 24 Apr 2011The Cope Law states that: the capacity of the bike you're riding is inversely proportional to your chances of a crash. Never was it more true than on the launch of Honda's CBR125R and CBR250R where a handful of UK journos were riding elbow to elbow for a couple of hours, with laughter flowing from everyone's lid as we all took turns to back in to roundabouts, burnout through town and wheelie from the lights.. This video shows me chasing Trevor Franklin of MCN fame on a top speed run.
