Honda CBR description

Condition: Was a running, nearly complete and ridable motorcycle before teardown for rebuild. It is missing body kit, throttle return springs, handle bar weights and gas tank petcock. This bike can be put back together as is, however it is not reccomended. For a safe inspecatable vehicle some parts will need replacing. The engine was reported to have a small coolant leak from the back of the block and possibly needs a new head gasket.

History: I purchased this bike in fall as a good winter project, it was a good platform to rebuild. I then dissasembled and removed the engine to have it re-gasketed. Subsequitialy, I ended up getting injured at work and now need to relocate. I cannot afford to ship this vehicle cross country thefore it is here for auction. I paid $800 for a bike that was being ridden, but needed some repairs to be safe. The prior owner was a idiot to ride it in its current condition.

You will need to pick up the bike or, pay for shipment. Payment via money order only.

This motorcycle is located at Stor-al in Gonic NH on pickering road and you can make an appointment to come see it in person if you like.

Ben Bostrom Events

Fri, 05 Jul 2013

Ex-racer Ben Bostrum might have stopped competing on motorcycles, but he hasn't given up his passion for two wheels. He's teamed up with motorsports promoter M1 to create Ben Bostrom Events, a company that plans to host world-class cycling and running races across the US. According to a press release, the high-intensity events will feature an 'entertainment-filled atmosphere', combining many of the familiar elements found at other MOB (mud, obstacles, beer) racing events.

The future. But we can't have it

Thu, 10 Nov 2011

It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.

Honda Reports Q1 2014-2015 Sales Results

Tue, 29 Jul 2014

Honda reported sales of 4.137 million motorcycles over its first quarter ended June 30, 2014. That represents a 2.0% increase over the results of the same quarter the previous year, which doesn’t sound like much. But then you remember that 2.0% still represents an additional 83,000 motorcycles (including ATVs), such is the scale involved in a company like Honda.
