Honda CBR description

2006 Honda CBR1000RR (CBR1000RR), Super nice CBR1000.. Brand new Brakes and front tire.. - New for 2006, the radically re-styled CBR1000RR looks like a muscular predator. Underneath that formidable shell rests an upgraded higher revving 998 cc DOHC inline-four wrapped in an all-aluminum lighter chassis patterned after our championship-winning MotoGP RC211V. And with Unit Pro-Link rear suspension, center-up exhaust and dual-stage fuel injection — it's feeding time.

Misano Moto GP. Was it Divine Intervention?

Thu, 20 Sep 2012

I’m still buzzing from an amazing weekend of Moto GP in Misano. It took until Saturday lunchtime for the sun to get his hat on but from there on in the atmosphere at both the circuit and the nearby beachfront was first class. As usual on race day we had epic Moto 3 and Moto 2 races with respective champions elect Cortese and Marquez once again taking victories by just fractions of a second.

Barber Recognized by Guinness as World’s Largest Motorcycle Museum

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

Guinness World Records has officially recognized the Barber Motorsports Museum as the world’s largest motorcycle museum in the world. The 144,000-square-foot, five-story museum is home to nearly 1400 motorcycles, of which about 700 are on exhibit. We’ve featured the Barber Museum before, and are completely blown away each time we step foot within its doors. It’s simply awe-inspiring.

The future. But we can't have it

Thu, 10 Nov 2011

It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.
