Honda CBR description

2013 Honda CBR500R, All New CBR500R We have them come and getm! - The Next Step Up. With the introduction of the all-new CBR500R, Honda boldly redefines the middleweight class and infuses a whole new level of excitement for sport riders in search of superior value, along with great fun. The CBR500R delivers plenty of performance to sport riders, with its thoroughly modern, torquey 500 cc P-twin DOHC engine wrapped in a great-handling chassis and featuring a full fairing spawned from Honda’s much-acclaimed CBR600RR and CBR1000RR sportbikes. The CBR500R features a full bodywork cowl and a 31-inch seat height. It’s an excellent choice for riders ready to move up a displacement class, or for any rider who’s looking for a light, sporting, do-it-all street machine.

Video: On-board with Stoner at Sepang

Tue, 28 Feb 2012

The story of MotoGP testing has so far seen Casey Stoner maintain his dominance on the Repsol Honda. At the first test at Sepang 26 days ago - where the above footage was recorded - the 2007 and 2011 champion was the only rider to break the two minute barrier at the Malaysian circuit, ending the two-days at the track with a best time of 1:59.607.

Honda Grom Transformed into RC-X Mini Vintage Racer

Thu, 27 Jun 2013

The new 2014 Honda Grom can be many things to many people. To some, it’s a fun, affordable motorcycle perfect for commuting to school, to others it’s a great second bike for short jaunts. And then there are those who look at the Grom and see a blank canvas.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
