Honda CBR description

2013 Honda CBR250R ABS, 2013 Honda CBR250R ABSFun. Cool. Capable. CBR250R. If you re looking for an affordable, smart, capable and fun way to enjoy life on two wheels have we got a bike for you: the Honda CBR250R! The fuel-injected CBR250R offers everything you want in a first-time or all-around great bike: Light weight. A powerband that s immensely user-friendly. Excellent fuel efficiency. Unmatched reliability. And a fun factor that s off the chart. Since the CBR250R is a Honda, it s full of features few other bikes in its class can match. And it offers a build quality that means you ve got dependable cross-town or cross-country transportation. Best of all, the CBR250R is available in two versions: the CBR250R and the CBR250R ABS with our Anti-lock Brake System a first for the segment and a really valuable option that both first-timers and experienced riders will appreciate. And for 2013, there's even more color choices: Black, a new all-Red, and a new Pearl White/Blue/Red--all featuring blacked out wheels and exhaust. Plus, there's an amazing new Repsol replica version! The Honda Difference The CBR250R offers the perfect balance of beginner-friendly features and the typical Honda refinement that more experienced riders will appreciate. Light weight, superb handling, broad powerband and unmatched build quality and attention to detail combine all that with Honda s famous reliability and the CBR250R is an instant winner.Light, Narrow, Low Because it s a single-cylinder machine, the CBR250R is narrow, and with its low 30.5-inch seat height and light 359-pound curb weight, putting your feet down in parking lots or at stoplights can be a lot easier. The Power of One The CBR250R uses a single-cylinder engine with fuel injection, double-overhead cams and a counterbalancer. Sure that s tech talk, but the architecture offers some very real advantages. Maybe the most important is power delivery: a single offers the kind of torque and midrange power that s well suited for all levels of riders.Stop With Confidence Honda s Anti-lock Brakes System (ABS) is a great option to add to the CBR250R. It will have you ready for less than ideal road conditions.Combined Anti-lock Brake System Our Combined ABS can be a big help in making controlled stops in less than ideal conditions. Like on wet pavement, or when there's sand on the road or other debris. It's a perfect choice whether you're using your new bike as a commuter or just riding it for fun since it helps you stop with added confidence.

Kenny Roberts Motorcycle Collection Up For Sale

Wed, 25 Apr 2012

Motorcycling legend Kenny Roberts has commissioned RMD Motors to auction off some rare and exclusive motorcycles from his collection, presumably to make room for more. The Japan-based company is known the world over for its collection of rare and classic motorcycles for sale, many of which are retired grand prix machines fortunate enough to escape the fate of most decommissioned racebikes: the crusher.  Headlining the Roberts collection is the 2004 Proton KRV5 originally ridden by Kurtis Roberts, King Kenny’s youngest son. The five-cylinder grand prix machine never achieved much success on the world stage, but will easily make you the center of attention at your local trackday.

A postcard from Moto GP Jerez

Fri, 04 May 2012

If the weather over the Jerez Moto GP weekend was dull then the atmosphere in the press room was the complete opposite.  After the carnage and chaos during the Moto 3 race, the amazing Romano Fenati (in only his second GP) had the Italian journalists celebrating as he crossed the line to win. I smiled as they simultaneously began singing ‘Y Viva Espana’ as if to signify the end of Spanish dominance in the junior GP class.
