Honda CBR description
2013 HONDA CBR 500R ABS, The Next Step Up. With the introduction of the all-new CBR500R, Honda boldly redefines the middleweight class and infuses a whole new level of excitement for sport riders in search of superior value, along with great fun. The CBR500R delivers plenty of performance to sport riders, with its thoroughly modern, torquey 500 cc P-twin DOHC engine wrapped in a great-handling chassis and featuring a full fairing spawned from Hondas much-acclaimed CBR600RR and CBR1000RR sportbikes. The CBR500R features a full bodywork cowl and a 31-inch seat height. Its an excellent choice for riders ready to move up a displacement class, or for any rider whos looking for a light, sporting, do-it-all street machine.

Honda to Produce MotoGP-Derived V4 Superbike
Fri, 21 Sep 2012Honda Chief Executive Officer Takanobu Ito announced plans to produce a new super sports bike derived from its RC213V MotoGP race bike. A V4 Honda sportsbike has long been rumored to be in development but it finally appears the project is getting the green light. Speaking about Honda’s plans for the next five years, Ito confirmed the sportbike is on its way, using technology from the company’s successful MotoGP program.
Honda’s V-4 History
Tue, 06 Oct 2009As Honda prepares its new VFR1200 for its official unveiling, the red-wing company has set up a website detailing its long involvement in V-4 engines. It began back in 1979 with the introduction of the NR500 grand prix racebike. Rather than fielding a 500cc two-stroke engine, Honda used a four-stroke oval-piston V-4 motor – essentially a V-8 with four cylinders that could be revved to 19,500 rpm!
Natural Habitats
Sat, 26 Jan 2013SAM Christmas has been a professional photographer for the last 3 years and is the man behind Natural Habitats, a collection of photos covering the growing UK custom scene, showing bikes and their builders at home. Sam's clients include the likes of Honda, Dainese, Google, Polo Jeans and Edwin denim but Natural Habitats is a personal project that took one and a half years to complete. I got to meet Sam when the exhibition opened in Shoreditch on Thursday evening.
