Honda CBR description

2012 Honda CB250RThe Honda CBR250R has the user-friendly operation and comfortable size and weight that make it perfect for novice riders or those stepping up from the CBR125R. But if experienced riders overlook it because they think engine displacement is the sole measure of a motorcycle¿¿¿s appeal, then they¿¿¿ll be missing out on a bike that redefines fun on two wheels. Purpose-built just for this bike, the CBR250R¿¿¿s 249 cc liquid-cooled single features PGM-FI electronic fuel injection, DOHC four-valve cylinder head, a 10,500 rpm redline, stacked transmission shafts, and more... it all adds up to an engine that¿¿¿s easy to use in the stop-and-go of the city, and right at home on the open road or during track days, too. The compact size of the engine was a key element in allowing engineers to create a sporty chassis and rider ergonomics that comfortably fit riders big and small. With its centralized mass, compact wheelbase, full-size 17-inch wheels, nimble steering geometry and light overall weight, the CBR250R achieves that magical state of feeling like it¿¿¿s responding to your very thoughts.

CARB Certifies 2015 Honda NC700X – Still No 750 Engine in Sight

Tue, 07 Oct 2014

American consumers hoping Honda would replace its NC700X with the larger-displacement NC750X will be disappointed to know they might have to wait until the 2016 model year to get the 75cc engine upgrade. The California Air Resources Board has granted an executive for the 2015 Honda NC700X, certifying the motorcycle for sale in the state with the same 670cc engine displacement it had since being introduced in the 2012 model year. Now, this doesn’t mean Honda won’t decide to certify the 745cc engine after all; manufacturers resubmit and recertify models all the time, often replacing models are adding additional model using the same engine.

2023 Honda EM1 E: Electric Scooter First Look

Tue, 08 Nov 2022

Stylish with a removable battery, but only for Europe Honda is one of several manufacturers showing off shiny e-scooters slated for 2023 release, and the 2023 Honda EM1 e: looks pretty nice. Destined for Europe (at least initially, we hope), the EM1 e: is one of the 10 motorcycle models that the manufacturer has pledged to release by 2025, with the company’s other stated goal of being carbon neutral by 2050 hanging in the balance. The e-scooter’s name is derived from Electric Moped, and it is aimed at younger potential riders looking for stylish, fun urban transportation (which explains the Euro release).
