Honda CBR description

2012 Honda CBR1000RRA, U.S.A!! - It all started with the original CBR900RR FireBlade 20 years ago. During two decades of continuous development and innovation since then, the Honda CBR1000RRA has always aimed for one goal: to make the rider feel completely connected with every aspect of the bike’s operation. Honda engineers call it Total Control, and for 2012 the CBR1000RRA takes this advanced design principle to a higher level than ever before. Significant changes to both the front and rear suspension improve damping performance and feedback, while revisions to both the PGM-FI electronic fuel injection system and the sophisticated Electronically Controlled Combined ABS system make the CBR1000RRA even more intuitive to ride – even at the flat-out pace of a track day. And you can’t miss the new wheels and fairing – they look great as well as improving the CBR1000RRA’s road-holding, comfort and aerodynamics. Superbike performance combined with real-world rideability. Take Total Control of your riding experience with the 2012 Honda CBR1000RRA.

Remember push starts?

Fri, 18 Nov 2011

Alongside the most stunning collection of race and road bikes at their Motegi museum, next to some race bikes, Honda also has a step by step guide on most aspects of riding. I photographed the wonderful text on push starting but I also have lots of equally hilarious instructions on cornering braking and even what a riders goal should be. Watch this space...... oh, and hopefully see you at the NEC over the next ten days!

NR750 owners should require approval

Mon, 14 Jun 2010

Words can't express the absolute disbelief of this strangely attired guy trying to ride one of the rarest motorcycles every to grace tarmac. But this clip descends in to absurdity when the rider fumbles setting off on the Honda NR750 and drops the oval-pistoned beauty on its side. Did he stall it or is there a disc lock hidden within the pixilated video?

Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.

Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old.  Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.
