Electric Motorcycle Conversion [video]

If you were ever curious how to convert your smelly, noisy and dirty gas powered motorcycle into a quiet and zero emissions electric motorcycle then you have to check this video out from GomiStyle.  They take an old Honda Rebel 250 and customize the frame to accommodate the electric motor and batteries, they claim the conversion should take about two to three days to complete, the batteries will take about 5-8 hours to charge and will give you a top speed of 45 mph. The other day, Honda patented the name and layout of the NT1100 motorcycle

The Africa Twin parallel twin will be installed in another chassis - an asphalt tourist one. Unfortunately, at the moment there are no official pictures, only the fantasies of fans and third-party designers. Only one thing is clear - the engine will be 1100cc, and just like the CRF1100 Africa Twin touring enduro and CMX1100 Rebel chopper, the engine will be offered with both a conventional motorcycle foot-shift gearbox and a DCT robot.

Ronax 500 – the Street Legal Two-Stroke GP Replica

After teasing us for nearly two months, German brand Ronax has revealed its 500cc two-stroke sportbike. Ronax isn’t saying it’s a street-legal replica of the Honda NSR500 that Valentino Rossi rode to win the 2001 Grand Prix world championship – probably because they legally can’t – but that’s essentially what the 500 is.
