2013 Long Beach International Motorcycle Show Report

After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. 2014 Mugen Shinden San Revealed
Wed, 02 Apr 2014Mugen have released these pictures of the 2014 Shinden San (three), the electric racebike Honda’s performance subsidiary is hoping will take victory at this year’s Isle of Man TT Zero event. The past two years the Mugen motorcycles have come second to the radical E1pc Motoczysz machines piloted by Michael Rutter. Details are relatively basic at the moment, but underneath the bodywork, Mugen says the latest Shinden sees lithium-ion battery mated to an oil-cooled three-phase brushless motor producing 134 hp and a whopping 162 ft.-lbs.
MSF Begins Year-long Real World Motorcycle Safety Study
Fri, 26 Aug 2011The Motorcycle Safety Foundation has started what it calls the first-ever naturalistic study of motorcycling, with 100 motorcycles equipped with data logging equipment to record real-world riding situations over the course of a year.
