Honda CBR description

2011 Honda CBR250R  Red and black w/ silver accents
Mileage: 3272 (may increase slightly as I ride on the weekends)
Excellent condition

Purchased from The Motorcycle Shop in San Antonio with 320 miles.  Previous owner decided she wasn't comfortable riding and sold it back to the shop.

I bought this Honda to serve as a commuter that was more reliable than my '73 Honda CB350.  This bike is economical (70+mpg) and fun to ride. I am able to ride at 70-75mph comfortably on the highway. This bike is eager, but loses steam approaching 85mph.  Your results may vary.

There are zero blemishes on this Honda and the paint shines as it did from the showroom. CBR decals removed to present a more grown-up look; no other modifications.  1 key, owner's manual, and tool kit are present.  All lights, indicators, and horn function properly.  Always fires first time with electric starter.  Regular oil changes; most recent @ 3100 miles with Honda OEM filter.  Front tire ~70% tread; rear tire ~60% tread.

Ready to ride for many more miles. Perfect for beginner or veteran who enjoys riding.  Title is clear and in my name; no liens.  Current TX registration; inspection recently lapsed. If buyer resides in TX, I will do this prior to pickup. NO WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.  No bids from buyers with zero feedback.  I have bought and sold several vehicles through eBay over the years-check my feedback.  No surprises.

$500 deposit via Paypal due w/in 48hrs of auction close.  Deposit is non-refundable-only bid if you have funds and intend to purchase.

More Than $5 Million Available From 2014 Honda Red Riders Rewards

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

The continuation of Honda’s Red Riders Rewards program for 2014 means more than $5 million in earnings will be available to racers. Honda owners have the opportunity to earn payouts at more than 1500 races in 2014 motocross, off-road, dirt track, ATV and road racing contests throughout the country. Honda’s press release was awfully thin with details for road racers, instead focusing on a restructure of the off-road series payouts and the different ways competitors can hope to win money in.

2014 WSBK – Portimao Results

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.

Colin Edwards Announces Retirement At End Of Season

Thu, 10 Apr 2014

Colin Edwards has announced he will retire at the conclusion of the 2014 MotoGP season. The announcement came during the pre-event press conference ahead of this weekend’s Austin MotoGP race — Edwards’ home round. The two-time World Superbike champion cited a lack of progress from winter testing as one reason for the decision.
