Honda CBR description

2009 Honda Cbr 600RR, For Sale is a 2009 Honda CBR 600rr in LIKE NEW condition with EXTREMELY low miles (only ~6700). This bike is garage kept and has never once touched the ground. The color scheme is a limited edition green and black for a Honda. The bike looks great and has the following mods on it: - Double bubble wind shield - Roll-A-Click Levers Clutch and Brake in Black (these are shorty levers that allow you to adjust the tension while in mid-ride with ease) - 5000k White HID headlights - Photon flush mounted turn signals - Shogun no cut sliders - Brand New EK MVXZ Black / Silver Chain - Adjusted Gearing: -1 tooth on front sprocket and +2 teeth on rear sprocket (this DRASTICALLY improves acceleration from stock) - SpeedoHealer to correct the speedometer for the adjusted gearing - Green backlight added to main console gauges - Pilot Power 2CT front and rear tires (the front has lots of tread left and the rear is like new) - Fender eliminator kit which places the rear tail light inside the rear fender. This contains functional turning signals as well - And the best for last: A hyperflo slip on exhaust system. This exhaust gets rid of the stock exhaust/tag mount and replaces it with a duel canister carbon fiber exhaust. This exhaust looks great and in my opinion, really makes this bike stand out from the rest. It also contains a secondary small red tail light under the exhaust as well which then gives you 2 functional taillights for much better rear visibility at night. This is a unique tail light set up and can be easily changed as you see fit and the bike will come with the stock exhaust as well. Why buy a brand new bike when you can just finish breaking in this new one with so many great add ons? There has not been a single major issue with it and all routine maintenance and part installations were done by Performance Honda on SR 54. I own the title and operators manual. This sale is for pick up in the Tampa Area or for a small fee I can deliver it to you in the Orlando area. Buyer must pay shipping if need be. Email me if you have any questions or realistic offers. RIDE SAFE! $7,500.00

Geeky snippets ahead of the Phillip Island MotoGP

Tue, 13 Oct 2009

Valentino Rossi has finished on the podium eleven times in his twelve visits to Phillip Island across all three GP classes. The only race at Phillip Island that he did not finish in the top three was on his first visit riding a 125cc machine in 1997 when he finished sixth. In 1998 and 1999 he won the 250cc races and since then has had nine podiums in the premier-class including five victories, the last of which was in 2005.

San Carlo Gresini To Field CRT Entry with Honda CBR1000RR Engine

Tue, 15 Nov 2011

The San Carlo Gresini race team announced it will compete in the 2012 MotoGP World Championship as a Claiming Rules Team with a Honda CBR1000RR engine in an FTR prototype chassis. The move is a late, but unfortunately necessary change from the team’s original plan to run the factory-level Honda RC213V racebike. The late Marco Simoncelli was tabbed to ride the newest version of Honda’s MotoGP machine next season, but after his tragic death, Gresini had to find another option if it wanted to continue racing.
