Honda CBR description

2008 HONDA CBR600RR, NO SALES TAX TO OREGON BUYERS!!!!A winner on the racetrack and in magazine comparison tests, the light, compact and powerful Honda CBR600RR raises performance standards to new heights in the middleweight class. The amazing CBR600RR combines radical performance with everyday practicality in a way that'll blow your socks off. With most 600s, you get either a great track bike that's high-strung and uncomfortable on the street, or a great streetbike that lacks the right stuff for track days or race wins. With the CBR600RR, we found a way to achieve superior track and street performance in one amazing bike. Careful attention to chassis geometry and ergonomics makes the CBR600RR wonderfully balanced and predictable for superior control on twisty roads or streets* Price shown is final price after any factory to customer rebates and does not include applicable taxes if wa resident, license and title, negotiable doc fee, freight charge

Rather than fielding a 500cc two-stroke engine, Honda used a four-stroke oval-piston V-4 motor – essentially a V-8 with four cylinders that could be revved to 19,500 rpm!

Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?

Thu, 05 May 2011

Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.
