Marc Marquez Breaks Leg in Training Crash

Marquez, who had a remarkable 2013 campaign to win the MotoGP title as a rookie, will need up to a month to recover, which should just about make him available for the 2014 season opener March 23 in Qatar. Wed, 13 Nov 2013Winter may be here but I seem to be as busier than ever, maybe the economy is finally turning around. At my last UK track day of the year I had some fun testing this little beauty. It’s a late eighties NS400 triple bored out to 475cc and it felt sweet as I zinged round the GP Arena track at Silverstone. Being stripped bare to reduce weight gives it a very respectable power to weight ratio which means it could live with 600s (on the twisty bits at least).
Marc Marquez Crash Data Analysis From Silverstone
Thu, 05 Sep 2013During warm-up for last weekend’s Silverstone MotoGP race, Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez crashed between turns seven and eight, losing the front while on the brakes. The fall caused the MotoGP rookie’s shoulder to pop out of its socket, and Alpinestars has released the data from Marquez’ Tech-Air-equipped suit for us to further examine. Looking at the graph below, you’ll see the impact was focused on Marquez’ left shoulder.
