2008 Honda Cbr 1000, Im selling my 2008 CBR1000RR limited candy red/ silver sport bike. It is in excellent condition and is running perfectly. It is under full warranty until Sept. 2014. Bike has a smoked windshield and a custom licence place/ rear turn signal assembly. I recently injured myself in a motocross accident and have put the bike on a PNO since I am unable to ride at the moment. I'm in no rush to sell. Will be using money as a down payment on a 2014 model when I'm finished recovering. Bike has 8314mi. Clean title in hand. Asking $7,200 cash, will consider reasonable offers. Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?
Tue, 30 Dec 2008A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.
Honda RCV1000R MotoGP Production Racer Revealed
Thu, 07 Nov 2013Honda Racing Corporation officially introduced its new RCV1000R production racer which will be sold to racing teams hoping to compete in MotoGP‘s new “Open” prototype class. The RCV1000R is based on Honda’s RC213V factory prototype, with the same chassis and a similar 90° V-4 engine claiming more than 234 hp at 16000 rpm. The key difference is the engine uses traditional spring valves whereas the valves on the RC213V are activated pneumatically.
