2007 Honda Cbr 1000RR, 2007 CBR1000RR has 11,600 miles and will go up as I continue to ride it. This is a great bike! Runs really strong and sounds great, has a two brothers exhaust, shorty adjustable levers, frame sliders, swing arm spools, tinted wind screen, and six inch swing arm extenders. Lowered about 2 inches. I have a brand new front tire for it just haven't had a chance to put it on and the rear tire will need to be changed next season but is ok the rest of the year unless you like to burn the tires off! lol. Asking $6,500 but I will negotiate with reasonable offers cash only, the only trade I will consider is on a 60s or early 70s muscle car. No joy rides and no test rides. Mon, 14 Oct 2013Honda Project Leader Shunji Yokokawa's first Honda bike was a CB900, which he got when he was a teenager after seeing Freddie Spencer wheeling his way down the Laguna's Corkscrew.Yokokawa has been in the States himself recently, having travelled to the Bonneville Salt Flats to break a world land speed record for a stock 600cc motorcycle.According to the Southern California Timing Association website (you'd have thought the video might have mentioned something about the record?), Shunji was successful in his attempt during August's 'Speed Week', setting an official speed of 170.828mph onboard a CBR600RR.
Hero MotoCorp Forms Joint Venture with Magneti Marelli
Wed, 04 Dec 2013Indian manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is teaming up with electronic fuel injection expert Magneti Marelli in a new joint venture. Hero will hold a 60% share in the company with Magenti Marelli controlling the other 40%. The two companies are initially investing a combined US$8.5 million into the joint venture, with a planned investment of US$27 million total over the next ten years.
